Meridian Moments is operated by AJx Ventures LLC, based in Chesapeake, Virginia (“Meridian Moments,” “we,” “us”).

Using the photo booth

Before the booth takes photos, it shows a short on-screen notice. By tapping Accept, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you tap Decline, the booth won’t take photos of you.

Booth rules

• Use the booth, backdrop, and props as intended, under our attendant’s direction.
• No food or drinks at the booth or near the printer.
• Guests under 14 must be with an adult while using the booth.
• The booth area isn’t a play area, and props stay at the booth.
• Be respectful. Our attendant may refuse or end service for anyone who is unsafe, abusive, or rough with the equipment, and we don’t tolerate harassment of our staff.

Don’t take photos that are unlawful, obscene, or that invade someone else’s privacy.

Your photos

Meridian Moments owns the copyright to photos taken at our booth. You’re free to download, print, and share your photos for personal use, including on your own social media. Please don’t sell them or use them commercially without our permission.

How your photos are shared depends on the event:

• Weddings, parties, and other private events: Event photos are shared with the host through the event’s online gallery, and the host decides who to share it with.
• Corporate activations: Event photos, and the phone number or email you give to get your photos, are shared with the company that hired us. The company may use photos for internal or marketing purposes.
• Expos and trade shows where we run our own booth: Your photos are just for you. We don’t post them in an online gallery or share them with anyone else.

Hosts may use event photos for their own purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

We may share photos of our setup, such as the booth, backdrop, and decor, in our marketing. We’ll only feature photos of identifiable guests with that guest’s permission, or a parent’s or guardian’s permission for anyone under 18. Tapping Accept lets you use the booth. It does not give us permission to feature your photos in our marketing.

Our overlay designs, templates, and other creative materials belong to us and can’t be copied or reused without permission.

Getting your photos

• Depending on the event, photos can be printed or delivered by text, email, QR code, or AirDrop. If you give us a phone number or email, make sure it’s yours or that you have permission to use it.
• Text and email delivery need an internet connection. If the venue has weak or no service, your photos may arrive later, once a connection is available.
• Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
• When an event has an online gallery, it stays online for at least 30 days after the event, so download anything you want to keep.

If you share photos to social media, that platform’s own terms apply.

Surveys

At expos, trade shows, and corporate activations, and at other events when the host asks for one, the booth may show a short survey after you take your photos, before you get them by text or email. At corporate activations, the survey comes from the company that hired us, and your answers are shared with that company.

If a survey asks whether we can follow up with you, saying no won’t affect getting your photos. We’ll only text or email you about our services if you say yes, and you can opt out anytime by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us. We’ll use your answers only as described on the survey and in our Privacy Policy.

Our website

The content on themeridianmoments.com, including text, photos, and designs, belongs to Meridian Moments or is used with permission. Please don’t copy it without permission. Prices, packages, and availability on our website may change, and your booking is confirmed only through a signed Services Agreement.

Disclaimers and limits

We work hard to make every event great, but the booth, digital delivery, and our website are provided “as is.” Photo delivery depends on internet service, devices, and third-party providers, and we can’t guarantee that every photo will be delivered or that the gallery will always be available. To the fullest extent the law allows, Meridian Moments isn’t liable to guests or website visitors for indirect or consequential damages arising from using the booth or our website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that can’t be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last updated.
